ORIENTATION
knowing where and how to start
What do i do?
For each of the six steps in the Decision Cycle:
- Read about the step and all that's involved
in the Overview section.
- Work through the activity or
discussion so you get some practice thinking about it and doing
it for yourself.
- Think about the results you obtained
and what you learned from the results.
- Reflect on what you did to get the results,
and think about what the results mean.
- Consider what you did to get the results
so that you can do it again if you wish.
Occasionally you
will come across this image.
When you see the
thinker image, just take a few moments to think about the
question or comment presented.
Each step of the Decision Cycle ends
with a section called What's Next? This is
a summary of where you are in the decision-making process
and a review of what's left to do. It will also introduce
you to the next step of the career decision-making process.
Are you ready to get started?
