What do i do?

For each of the six steps in the Decision Cycle:

  • Read about the step and all that's involved in the Overview section.
  • Work through the activity or discussion so you get some practice thinking about it and doing it for yourself.
  • Think about the results you obtained and what you learned from the results.
  • Reflect on what you did to get the results, and think about what the results mean.
  • Consider what you did to get the results so that you can do it again if you wish.

When you see the thinker image, just take a few moments to think about the question or comment presented.

Each step of the Decision Cycle ends with a section called What's Next? This is a summary of where you are in the decision-making process and a review of what's left to do. It will also introduce you to the next step of the career decision-making process.
