The ACRN evaluation model is based on the evaluation training provided by Dr.
Janet Wall and Louisa Fuller (NTSC) at the March 2005 ACRN National Training
Conference.
Dr. Janet E. Wall, EdD, has worked at the federal, state, and
school district levels in the areas of assessment, evaluation, and career
development. Her work has spanned the public and private sectors. She is
immediate Past President of the Association for Assessment in Counseling and
Education and is a member and former co-chair of the Joint Committee on Testing
Practices. She was instrumental in the development and production of the Code
of Fair Testing Practices in Education, the ABC’s of School Testing
video and leaders guide, Rights and Responsibilities of Test Takers: Guidelines
and Expectations, and a book on assessment of individuals with
disabilities. She co-edited a book titled Measuring Up: Assessment Issues for
Teachers, Counselors and Administrators, and authored a book titled What
Do I Like to Do?: 101 Activities to Identify Interests and Plan Careers,
both published by Pro-Ed, Inc. Over her career she has delivered many
assessment- and career-related training sessions and webinars, including
several on the O*NET system; made several conference presentations; and wrote
many articles, reports, book chapters, and monographs. She has been
instrumental in the development of ASVAB Career Exploration Program for the
Department of Defense and ACT’s DISCOVER program. She is a certified NCDA
National Career Development Facilitator Instructor and is an adjunct professor
at George Washington University.
