Title: What Works to Improve Student Achievement in the Middle Grades

Description:
Analysis of SREB's middle grades improvement effort that concludes
that the program raised achievement for middle grade students (including
minorities). In schools where the program was fully implemented, the
achievement gain was greater. Also, schools with the most qualified
teachers, who could implement the program with little or no additional
training, saw the most achievement gains.
