Title: Family Involvement in the Education of Secondary-School-Age Students With Disabilities

Research brief that looks at the extent to which families of secondary students with disabilities are involved in their education, and whether any particular student or family characteristics affect the type or level of parent involvement. The researchers found that families of secondary students with disabilities are very involved with their child’s education, and that this involvement does vary according to particular student or family characteristics. They discuss the implications of these findings for school practice.
