Report on employers’ views of the skills of new workers at the high school, 2-year college and 4-year college levels, per an in-depth survey conducted in April and May 2006 and selected interviews. At all levels of education, employers believe the skills of new workers to be less than needed to meet the challenges of the 21st century workplace, with high school graduates the most deficient.
